This is a continuing assignment effective September 1, 2026.

The assignment consists of the following: General Music 6 and Band 7/8.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent;
• Valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch;
• Orff levels, Kodaly levels or equivalent coursework

Teachers applying for this position should possess the following attributes:

• successful experience in Middle Music instruction;
• excellent classroom management skills;
• evidence of excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills in working with staff, students and parents;
