0.60 FTE Grades K-9 Blended Learning HLC Teacher - Outdoor Learning

Must be able to provide face‑to‑face instruction in Smithers, BC. Temporary position subject to enrollment. 2 positions.

The Heartwood Learning Communities (HLC) are blended learning programs with students from Kindergarten - Grade 9. HLC teachers support students in multi‑grade classes, with diverse needs and abilities. Each HLC is unique in its face‑to‑face offering and students may be face‑to‑face up to 2.5 days per week. During the home‑learning days, our educators support families across multiple platforms, spend time planning, and collaborate with their grade‑group colleagues and the greater HLC community.

Qualifications

• Training, certification and/or direct experience teaching in an online learning (OL) or blended program in British Columbia
• Experience in place based/experiential learning
• Wilderness First Aid is an asset, must have Standard First Aid <...
