Elev8 (Nelson) is looking for a 1.0 FTE (term) K‑9 Blended Learning Program teacher from September 8 – December 18, 2026.

Homelinks is a blended learning program. Students can be in person with the teacher up to 49% of a school week. Student work is asynchronous. Teacher assigns curriculum to students after consultation with parents (which occurs at the beginning of the year). Teacher works with parents and decides on how to use the individual student learning funds, that are used to enhance the educational program of the student. Multi‑aged instruction and activities occur regularly. Teacher works with families to ensure regular engagement of the learners and provides direction and feedback. Much of student learning occurs at home and work is handed in for the teacher to mark, evaluate and give feedback on.

Students range from Kindergarten to grade 9 in a multi‑aged setting.

Larger group activity days often occur on Thursdays.
