Bilingual Legal Counsel

The Human Rights Legal Support Centre (HRLSC) provides a broad range of free legal assistance to individuals throughout Ontario who have experienced discrimination contrary to Ontario’s Human Rights Code. The HRLSC is seeking applications for a Legal Counsel – Bilingual position to provide legal services and representation to HRLSC clients, including at mediations and hearings before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO). Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

Human rights expertise, knowledge and familiarity with legal issues, including discrimination, and the ability to litigate before administrative tribunals in both English and French.

Responsibilities
