The Registered Dietitian as a member of the Inpatient Dietitian Team is responsible for providing quality nutrition care and education for in-patients and their families. Nutrition care services will be provided to the following programs: Complex Continuing Care, Rehabilitation, General Medicine and Surgery, Nephrology, Oncology, Maternal Child Services, Critical Care, Mental Health and Emergency.

Ongoing evaluation and redistribution of caseload will be done to meet the needs of the inpatient population across Lakeridge and will be supported with mentoring and education. Registered Dietitians contribute to program planning, implementation and evaluation in a multidisciplinary team setting, supervise nutrition students and dietetic interns and have other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with a major in Food and Nutrition and successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program or a recognized equivalent is required;
