Position Summary

Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse *REPOST*; Status: Regular Part Time; Department: LG LTC 6W RESIDENTIAL; Program: Long Term Care; Schedule: 8‑hour shifts – days, evenings, nights, weekends (subject to change); Location: Lakeridge Health Ajax, ON – Long Term Care; Wage: $36.95–$39.02 per hour.

Reporting to Nursing Leadership, the Registered Practical Nurse will provide excellent nursing care to residents at the Lakeridge Gardens 320‑bed long term care home being built on the Ajax‑Pickering hospital site. This new home is part of the government's plan to improve long‑term care delivery and capacity in Ontario and the Durham Region. The state‑of‑the‑art long‑term care home sets a new bar for seniors' care, with dining and outdoor space on every floor, a large courtyard, onsite diabetes care and other innovative features.
