Aboriginal Infant Development Program (AIDP) Worker

Program: Indigenous Early Years

Status: Full Time, Union (BCGEU)

Wage: Starting at $35.00/hour + benefits and pension

Location: 717 Princess Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6A 3E4

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Under the supervision of the Director of Indigenous Early Years, the Aboriginal Infant Development Worker (AIDW) supports children and families through the Indigenous Early Years (IEY) Program at Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society (VAHS).

The AIDW works alongside parents, caregivers, and community professionals to support infant and early childhood development through culturally grounded, family‑centred care. This role includes outreach visits, developmental guidance, referrals, advocacy, and individualized support planning for Indigenous children and families.
