General Description:Under general supervision of the Finance Director, performs a variety of professional and technical duties in support of financial and accounting functions of the District; prepares, processes and maintains accounting and financial records; functional areas of responsibility include accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll; prepares financial transactions and maintains a variety of accounting files and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; and performs related duties as assigned.
