Our client, a privately-owned Canadian company that provides high-tech solutions to retailers to improve the efficiency of their sales systems, is looking for an Accounting Technician. This opportunity offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work up to 4 days a week from home.

Responsibilities

• General bookkeeping from transactional recordings
• Processing of payments.
• General correspondence and filing.
• Administrative and organizational duties.
• Preparation of Bank reconciliations A/R and A/P.
• Complete month end closings.
• Other related tasks.

Qualifications

• College diploma in related field.
• 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Prior experience working with accounting software (QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Writeup, Acc Pac and others).
