VMware Administrator – Level 2

Oversee VMware virtual and physical infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with corporate security policies.

• Administer and maintain VMware vSphere Platform 6.x, ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server.
• Provision and troubleshoot Windows and Linux virtual machines from templates, ISO images, and pre‑configured appliances.
• Implement security patches, functional updates, and version upgrades; perform performance tuning of ESX servers.
• Harden ESXi hosts and document support processes.
• Collaborate with the security team to identify and resolve server vulnerabilities; manage data restoration procedures.
• Configure snapshot, High‑Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and cloning background processes.
