Course title: Law, Reconciliation and Decolonization (CML1307 ) – Section A00. Designed to address the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Call to Action #28, the course explores the history and legacy of residential schools, the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, treaties and Aboriginal rights, Aboriginal law, Indigenous law, and Indigenous‑Crown relations. It also develops intercultural competencies through skills‑based training in dispute resolution, human rights, and anti‑racism.
Role: Regular Part‑time Professor in the Common Law Section.
Term: 2027 Winter Semester (academic year starts September1, ends August31).
Work hours: 39 hours per week.
Hourly rate: $ ‑2025). These rates do not include vacation pay or statutory pay; they will apply until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactive pay after ratification.
