Full‑time tenure stream position in Photonics Quantum Technologies at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Rank: Assistant Professor. Anticipated start: July 1, 2026. Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto).

Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative research at an internationally high level in photonic devices, circuits, and systems that leverage the quantum properties of light for emerging applications such as communications, computing, networks, sensing, and imaging.
• Establish a strong, externally funded independent research program.
• Contribute to and enrich undergraduate and graduate teaching, including course teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration across the department, university, industry, and government research labs.
