Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the 31st Force Support Squadron, Auto Hobby Shop at Aviano AB, Italy. The purpose of this position is to perform and instruct patrons in minor motor vehicle repairs on a variety of motor vehicles. Responsibilities 1. Provides support to the patrons of the facility in the form of instruction and technical assistance in the minor repair and maintenance of their motor vehicles that can be accomplished by cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing parts in cooling systems; braking systems; starting/charging systems; electrical systems; drive-trains; and suspension systems. Performs appropriate trouble shooting and explains proper process for correcting problems. Provides guidance in, and demonstrates, proper technique of locating worn, dirty, or poorly adjusted parts through visual check or use of a variety of test equipment, such as timing lights, feeler gauge, circuit testers, electronic engine analyzers...
