About This Opportunity
What You Will Do - Lead the migration of SQL Server and PostgreSQL workloads to Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
- Design, deploy, and support Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) offerings in Azure.
- Analyze and consolidate database instances to optimize performance, licensing, and cost.
- Implement Azure-native backup, replication, disaster recovery, and security configurations.
What You Will Bring To The Role - Strong hands‑on experience with Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instances, and related Azure data services.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and database consolidation strategies.
- Experience in migrating legacy Unix/Linux-based databases to modern cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Azure automation, monitoring, and security tools.
