Central Pre assessment clinic at GSTT is currently recruiting into our exciting Band 6 Central Pre-Assessment Nurse vacancy.
We are looking for an experienced Pre-assessment nurse with a sound knowledge of pre assessment or has worked in relevant areas like cardiac, thoracic, Orthopaedic, breast, urology, ENT, Colorectal, Upper GI or Vascular surgical experience. You will be an independent practitioner looking after your own caseload, in conjunction with working within the Pre-assessment team to meet NHS waiting list targets for a number of specialties as well as urgent / cancer pathway patients within the Trust.
You will be teaching and supporting new / junior staff and will promote a positive learning environment. You will be expected to provide clinical support, leadership, teaching and role modelling within the clinical area to colleagues and nursing students.
