**Purpose**

Contributes to the overall success of the GRCT - Global Regulatory & Controls Technology Department, ensuring US-specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the Business and US Compliance team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all Technology activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

This person will work closely with the Scotia GBM Compliance team and Front Office/Trading Desk personnel in US and Canada. The incumbent will provide dedicated Technology support in the areas of Trade Surveillance and Regulatory Reporting and will assist in responding to regulatory inquiries
