This position works closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering groups. The Buyer Planner plans and issues production schedules and manages completion to schedule performance. The Buyer Planner oversees sales forecast, maintains finished goods safety stock, and aligns
shipping of product to meet on-time customer requirements
- Utilization of Materials Requirements Planning systems to offer 99.5%+ customer service levels.
- Actively participate in New Product Development projects as a Materials representative.
- Maintain and develop stock programs as defined by Sales and Materials department.
- Assure that problems relating to delivery, quality or production are promptly resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures.
- Will be responsible to meet inventory targets for finish goods.
