Title :Bylaw Enforcement – Zoning Compliance Officer
Description:
Reporting to the Manager of By-law Enforcement, the Zoning Compliance Officer is primarily responsible for all matters related to zoning and building by-law compliance, terms and conditions, landscaping and lot grading, short-term rentals and illegal residential units and for the maintenance and accuracy of all associated files. The position is responsible for identifying enforcement issues, developing plans to address and resolve these issues, and responding to complaints related to bylaw violations. The work involves extensive public contact and community liaison requiring sound judgement, independent action, and considerable tact and diplomacy within the framework of established policies, bylaws and regulations
