CAREER INFORMATION ADVISOR

The Richmond School District is among the largest in British Columbia with a history of high graduation rates and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The district operates 38 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and related facilities, serving approximately 21,000 students with over 3,000 staff.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Obtains, organizes and promotes Career Resource materials such as postsecondary calendars, career information, booklets, pamphlets, labour market information and scholarship, bursary and other funding sources.
• Ensures information is current and organized.
• Distributes and signs out materials to students and teachers.
• Explores career and post-secondary options with students on an individual basis or in a class setting.
