Overview

We are seeking a Head of Airframe Engineering – Standards, Surfaces and Assembly (f/m) to join our Materials & Processes, Airframe team in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for surface treatment engineering, assembly technologies, standardization, design for environment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Managing the engineering team's performance to ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Defining and deploying a sustainability and environmental strategy for the A220 aircraft, collaborating with Airbus European counterparts.
• Engaging with global engineering teams and stakeholders to achieve program objectives for cost reduction, ramp‑up, and customer satisfaction.
• Acting as a change agent to integrate the A220 programme, deploying hardware standardization processes, and creating engineering manuals.
