**Responsibility:**

+ Responsible for the overall leadership of the 2nd line of defense compliance function in Asia, including, but not limited to, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing, sanctions compliance, fraud prevention, privacy, distribution compliance (including 2nd line oversight of distributor conduct, cross border sales compliance, and OSFI Guideline B-10 requirements as they apply to distributors), customer fair dealing, marketing material reviews, compliance training, and the Asia Segment implementation of Manulife’s legislative and regulatory compliance management program. This includes:

+ Providing leadership and direction to Market Business Unit Compliance Officers.
+ Managing external relations with regulators and industry associations.
+ Leading and managing oversight of Asia Segment Markets to ensure that Regulatory risks are appropriately managed and that effective regulatory compliance management controls and process are in plac...
