Your Gateway to Student Success
You will work as part of a team of clinical engineer technologists based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
You will have a permanent contract with a 36-hour working week that is Monday to Friday. Every day is different; you could be called to the accident and emergency to help with an equipment failure one day, or the next day commissioning new medical equipment, or the next day performing planned maintenance in an outpatient clinic. You will receive competency-based training on a range of low-risk and non-complex medical equipment, which will enable you to commission, calibrate, perform assurance and repair that equipment.
