Job Description

The responsibilities and range of activities may vary, but will include a subset of the following:

• Apply ergonomics and human factors methodologies to designs in progress
• Participate as part of the human factors team in creating designs or updates to designs addressing physical ergonomic considerations and identifying concerns
• Elicitation of requirements and user needs
• Creating human engineering inputs for delivery to the design team and supplying timely technical direction
• Creation of or review and assessment of prototypes and mockups
• Working with the development team to investigate and respond to problem reports
• Analyzing and investigating multiple possible design solutions, providing recommendations and documenting rationale
• Participating in peer reviews of various work products
• Creating tasks analysis and function allocation
