Description

The Volunteer Engagement Worker (Canada Summer Job) will participate in programs, which are essential to the alleviation of poverty and homelessness and build healthy relationships between stakeholders in The Mustard Seed’s diverse community. This team is designed to recruit, train and support volunteers on behalf of The Mustard Seed program teams. This position will be responsible for assisting the volunteer coordinators in training and facilitating programs. The position will also promote education and awareness to the wider public on local social issues such as poverty and homelessness. They will support The Mustard Seeds’ basic services, including a meal program, and clothing center.
