In accordance with standards of the Muskoday First Nation (MFN), the Community Safety Officer (CSO) will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment. CSOs will work alongside with the members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The CSO’s primary duties will enforce MFN by-laws and provincial statutes (e.g. traffic violations, etc.), and investigate disturbances, and unusual activities on MFN also wearing a uniformed presence within the community while on duty. CSOs will liaise with schools and community groups and attend functions on the MFN. The CSO will provide these services on a rotational shift basis, based on the needs of Muskoday First Nation. The CSO will primarily report to the Chief of Police.
