There is an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Consultant in Acute Medicine to join the existing team working across WTWA Hospitals. The role supports the Acute Medical and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) team, which includes 15 consultants and a multidisciplinary team consisting of advanced care practitioners, a consultant nurse, pharmacists, physician associates, physiotherapists, discharge facilitators, senior and junior clinical fellows and rotating doctors in training.
Appointment is a full‑time 10PA post. Applications for less than full‑time work or job shares are welcome. The successful candidate will join the medical on‑call rota, which currently includes 1 in 8 weekends and 1 in 24 weekdays and overnight.
