Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial work necessary for routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings and facilities with constant mobility.
• Cleans and maintains all surfaces of furniture, furnishings, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Moves furniture and equipment when required.
• Clears and cleans waste containers and sorts material for proper disposal.
• Cleans glass surfaces, avoiding the use of scaffolds or safety devices.
• Disinfects washrooms and provides supplies.
• Operates hand and power tools, performing routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Requests supplies and materials, stores them for ready use, and reports required repairs.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety, and assists in maintaining security of facilities.
• Handles other related duties as required, including occasional operation of light truck.
