About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Contracts Negotiator to support researchers across Imperial's Faculty of Medicine by drafting, reviewing and negotiating research-related contracts. This role is ideal for people who understand the language of contracts - whether from the NHS, charity, public sector, higher education, or another research‑support environment.


Main duties of the job



  • Draft, review and negotiate various types of research funding agreements and research‑related contracts (collaboration agreements, sub‑awards, Materials Transfer Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, etc.), referring to the Contracts Manager as required.

  • Deploy good working knowledge of contractual issues such as intellectual property, confidentiality, publications, liabilities and other related issues within the context of College and NHS policies.
