Role Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor, Administrative Accounting, the Corporate Accounting Clerk works in a team environment. They handle complex posting and ensure timely payment of invoices for Teck's Vancouver Head Office. This position is also responsible for investigating and resolving related queries from both internal and external parties. In addition, this position involves preparing various journal entries and account reconciliations, typically assigned to the Corporate Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage demanding deadlines. Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes, along with intermediate proficiency in Excel, is preferred.
