Summary

The Corporate Logistics Coordinator is responsible for handling the logistical coordinationof the organizations’ facilities, including office buildings and plants within a definedgeographical region. Duties include procurement of logistics services, management ofcarrier relationships, support of the plants logistical and operational needs as they relateto transportation and the safe interaction of carriers with shipping and receiving. TheLogistics Coordinator shall also create and maintain all associated documentation inadherence with established company practices, legislation and organizational policies andprocedures. In some circumstances, the Logistics Coordinator may be responsible for thesafety requirements of the organizations’ facilities and assets.
