Overview

Sanofi’s strategic direction is to standardize processes across sites and embrace the digital transformation of its Manufacturing & Supply perimeter, aiming to simplify the current solution landscape and leverage advanced technologies to bring business value. Within this context, the MARS (MES Accelerated Roadmap @ Sanofi) program implements computer‑assisted batch review through the definition and roll‑out of a core Manufacturing Execution System (MES), transforming Sanofi plants to improve compliance, cost and cycle time performance. Over the last three years 30 production sites across four GBUs were deployed, and a second wave of more than 50 sites is planned.
