Environmental Services Manager
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Environmental Service Manager oversees the efficient operations of Environment Services, including the Laundry, Housekeeping and Maintenance departments. The Environmental Manager works continuously to improve processes within the available resources, leading the teams in all 3 departments in implementing resident-focused services.Ensures residents safety and comfort by following Extendicare’s policies and procedures along with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021 (FLTCA). Making sure to understand the fundamental principles of the act; the long-term care home is primarily the home of its residents and is to be operated so that it is a place where they may live with dignity and is security, safety and comfort and have their physical, psychological, social, spiritual and cultural needs adequately met.
