Overview
We are partnering with a local government organization just outside Moncton, New Brunswick, to recruit a Director of Finance - Treasury. This is a key leadership role overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, treasury and debt management, and regulatory compliance. The position also includes direct supervision of one and requires regular attendance at Council meetings to provide financial updates.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
- Oversee treasury functions including cash flow, investments, revenue collection, and liquidity management
