Position Purpose

As Director of Government Relations, you'll work to help achieve AutoZone's strategic and operational business goals by maintaining and fostering relationships with government stakeholders. You'll represent us on the federal, state and local levels communicating our position on matters as deemed necessary by AutoZone leadership. You provide invaluable insight as to the regulatory and governmental landscapes.

Primary Accountabilities

• Defines the strategy to care for and promote the interests of the organization in all matters in which authorities, regulators and government agencies are involved, and manages the execution.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with all levels of government, public services and other authorities (for example, federal, state, municipal or local) to facilitate communication and promotion of AutoZone interests.
