Job Number: 55131The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking one (1) innovative and experienced Disability Management Consultant to assist our employees with navigating the Workersβ Compensation Board (WCB), Short Term (STD) and Long Term (LTD) disability processes. Our Disability Management Consultants actively work in consultation with employees, the work area and other internal/external stakeholders to development and implement return to work plans and acting on opportunities to provide early interventions to prevent lost time from work. Duties include:Managing the EPS WCB account through monitoring and strategically interpreting time loss statistics in order to identify risks and proactively plan improvements with the Occupational Health & Safety Section. The Disability Management Consultant promotes employee health through the implementation of early intervention initiatives (Occupational Injury Service (OIS) Clinics, on β site physiotherapy, etc) and modified work opportunities....
