The Dispatcher Level 4 provides consistent and timely dispatch services to member companies at all times.
Role Description
- On an assigned basis, ensure the requirements for Lines, Checkers and First Aid are dispatched in a timely and cost-effective manner according to customer requirements.
- Maintain and apply working knowledge of the collective agreement and black book document interpretations, policies and procedures when discharging dispatch responsibilities.
- Actively manage labour relations by ensuring compliance and consistent application of the collective agreement and black book documents
- Provide direction, support and guidance to member companies including education on dispatch guidelines and collective agreement/black book requirements/interpretations
- Ensure the labour relations interests of the customer are upheld
