The successful candidate
will: Use a variety of evidence-based strategies to support the social emotional development of students. Use principles of Universal Design for Learning in the development of all plans and programs. Work in collaboration with district learning support staff and/or district behaviour analyst to conduct functional behavioural assessments and develop positive behaviour support plans and safety response plans. Use evidence-based practices to inform instruction and create educational plans and supporting materials. Gather and summarize data on a regular basis to inform plans and programs. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, general and special education colleagues from other agencies to improve services and outcomes for students in the program and those who have been referred to a program.
