The Laboratory of Biosystems Dynamics (LBD) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology of Tampere University is looking for a Doctoral Researcher.

Bacterial infections are a worldwide problem, and new therapeutic strategies are urgently needed. This multidisciplinary project will apply data analysis, scientific computing, and modelling to study complex biological datasets and dissect how bacterial gene networks respond to antibiotics. From there we will identify vulnerabilities that, in the future, can be exploited to reduce antibiotic tolerance and resistance.
