Position Overview

The EHS Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of multiple EHS programs, including customer license reviews, training, packaging and transportation, and internal audits.

On-site in Kanata, Ontario

Your Day to Day as an EHS Compliance Specialist

• Review customer licenses to ensure appropriate authorizations are in place
• Coordinate the training program for employees, including identifying and implementing systemic improvements
• Develop and deliver EHS Compliance training
• Assist in compliance activities related to packaging and transportation
• Review and update EHS program documentation
• Investigate EHS incidents, identify root causes and determine corrective actions
• Perform compliance assessments against nuclear and other regulations
• Assess suppliers for compliance with EHS requirements
