NGIS Warehouse Specialist The Electrician performs a broad range of electrical maintenance, repair, and construction support, also incorporating inspection and testing of distribution systems, and circuit fault finding.
Principal Accountabilities - Identify life, health, and safety (LHS) issues and repair circuit faults on electrical systems
- Install, maintain, repair, or replace electrical equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Identify proper materials for use on specific installations and complete maintenance and repair records
- Follow all safety rules and procedures including wearing required personal safety equipment
- Oversee electrical work of assigned employees to ensure compliance with standards
- Ensure electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained in a safe operating condition and work areas are clean and hazard free
