Emergency Department Technician - Emergency Department


+ 30-bed Emergency Care Unit
+ Rapid paced, high acuity unit with 155 visits per day; > 55,000 annual visits
+ ACLS, PALS, and EKG provided
+ An orientation program facilitated by a Clinical Educator, focused on Emergency Nursing especially for the novice nurse
+ Part time (40 hours biweekly)
+ Shift: 12- hour evening/night
+ Every third weekends
+ Eligible for shift and weekend differential


Position Function: The Emergency Department Technician is under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, or at the direction of a physician. Performs clerical, computer, phlebotomy, EKG, and other patient care duties in the Emergency Department.
