The Hospital is a fully integrated facility with a total of 282 beds (216 acute, 36 aged care and 30 mental health). Warrnambool Campus (212 beds) provides acute, rehabilitation and mental health care, together with extensive outpatient and community services. Wards include medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, six bed critical care unit, dialysis, emergency, inpatient psychiatry, GEM and rehabilitation. There are three fully equipped operating theatres and a separate endoscopy suite.The hospital is considered one of the most modern and technologically advanced health services in regional Australia.
The position will be predominantly clinically focused, with some management functions associated with the role.
