Overview

Provide essential mental health expertise as a Psychiatric Liaison Nurse in Concordia’s Emergency Department. Support patients during crises and evaluate care plans by collaborating with healthcare teams. This position requires a minimum of three years recent acute mental health experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting. Elevate mental health support through expert assessments and team-oriented care in Concordia’s Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and care interventions
• Collaborate with ED/Urgent Care nurses for patient support
• Create crisis intervention strategies tailored to individual needs
• Educate families and colleagues on mental health practices
• Engage with community resources for patient referral

Qualifications

• 3+ years in acute mental health
