Location: Greenhills Operations, Elk Valley, BC (On-site)
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, Short Range Planning, the Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) Mining is responsible for ensuring the engineering department has the as‑built data required for planning and design work and that mine operations has accurate controls in place to execute the mine plan. The role focuses on continuous improvement of existing systems, development, integration, and reliability of new systems, and follows a 4x4 days schedule. Over a 4‑year program, the EIT will rotate approximately every 18 to 24 months to build well‑rounded skills for a professional engineering career.
