Position will be transitioned to the Alberta Sheriffs Police Service at a future date. It is a One-Year Temporary Individual Contract with an end date up to June 2027.
The Executive Director, Strategic Communications and External Relations leads a dynamic team of communications professionals to develop and execute the ASPS comprehensive communications strategy. This includes oversight of corporate communications, media relations, government relations, and stakeholder engagement, with a key priority to build and expand both the communications and government relations functions for the ASPS.
