SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Technicians will have experience in a construction-related field position. As a SUE Technician, you will be responsible for working both individually and in a team environment. Your primary responsibility is to designate/locate utilities and collect field data associated with providing services conforming to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) practices and their standards as per ASCE 38-22. This includes but is not limited to designating various types of subsurface utilities using electromagnetic (EM) Cable and pipe locate sets and other equipment. Other associated tasks may include, collecting and documenting data, trouble-shooting issues, and effectively communicating with client representatives on site and the project team leader.
