Become a vital part of UBCO’s Faculty of Applied Science as a Faculty Lifecycle Coordinator. This role involves managing faculty recruitment, appointments, and tenure processes in a bi-campus setting to ensure compliance and efficiency.
As the School’s go-to expert on all faculty lifecycle matters, you will oversee and coordinate processes related to recruiting, reappointments, promotions, and retirements across UBC Okanagan and Vancouver campuses. You’ll work closely with school leadership and HR to uphold university policies and collective agreements while providing guidance for documentation and procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage recruitment processes and candidate communications
• Oversee appointment letters and committee reports
• Coordinate administrative tasks for ARPT documentation
• Develop faculty job postings and advertisements
• Administer retirement and leave processes
