Salary will be determined in accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, based on the candidate's education and experience.

Duties And Responsibilities

• The Applied Research Chair will be responsible for providing the geological context to research teams concerning mineral deposits throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Working under the supervision of the Director of Industry Innovation (or designate), this position will design and execute applied R&D and innovation projects conducted by the College, including problem identification, development of project plans and schedules, proposal writing, project initiation, workflow, monitoring and control, closeout, and required liaison with relevant internal/external stakeholders.
