The Field Application Engineer (FAE) is a field-based expert responsible for delivering exceptional post-sale support to customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively. In this role, the FAE oversees the successful installation, adoption, and optimization of Cepheid’s GeneXpert systems within clinical laboratories across the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-installation site assessments, install instruments, configure software and connectivity, and provide ongoing support to customers during the evaluation stage. Continue to assist after product launch and on assay conversion, implement any necessary hardware or software updates, including connectivity enhancements.
• Monitor sites and deliver training on system operation, software, reagents and connectivity.
