Job Description The Forensic Interviewer/Family Advocate (FI/FA) works directly with alleged child victims, their non‑offending family members, Child Protective Investigators, Law Enforcement Officers, the District Attorney’s office, and other Multidisciplinary (MDT) Team members.
The FI/FA will be trained in the specialized field of forensic interviewing and family advocacy, and must understand the purpose and function of the Paluxy River Children's Advocacy Center, as well as be knowledgeable of existing policies and procedures.
Job duties include travel to the Granbury location for specific trainings and adhering to scheduled travel requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social service or criminal justice.
At least one year of experience in non‑profit, volunteer, or victim advocacy work.
Desire to work in a child‑abuse/victimization field.
